Refund policy

We are a small handmade workshop business and do our best to accommodate customers fairly while protecting the time, materials, and preparation that go into each experience.

Booking & Deposits

All workshop bookings require a $50 non-refundable booking fee to reserve your seat.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may:

  • Reschedule your workshop using the full value of your ticket, OR
  • Cancel for a card refund minus the $50 booking fee

Requests must be made at least 7 hours before your scheduled workshop.

Workshop Changes by Sip & Smith OAHU

Workshops may occasionally be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, low participation, instructor availability, or other operational needs.

If Sip & Smith OAHU reschedules your workshop, you may choose one of the following options:

A) Transfer to another available workshop date at no additional charge
B) Receive a transferable Gift Card valid for up to 5 years
C) Receive a refund minus the $50 booking fee

Your $50 booking fee may remain on file for 5 years and can be applied toward a future booking.

If Sip & Smith OAHU reschedules your workshop more than once, your tickets become fully refundable.

Attendance & No-Shows

If we do not receive communication regarding cancellation, rescheduling or confirming attendance at least 7 hours before your workshop, your booking may be considered a no-show and converted into a Gift Card for future use to rebook the next available workshop. A $50 late fee will be added to your final invoice if you’re more than 15 minutes late.

Sale Tickets, Bundles & Specialty Workshops

  • Sale tickets are non-refundable
  • Gift Cards are non-refundable
  • Group Sale Bundles may not be split between separate workshops
  • Sale tickets do not apply to gold-filled rings or specialty pieces
  • Solo lessons are non-refundable
  • Specialty workshops and specialty pieces are non-refundable

Materials & Finished Pieces

Metalsmithing is a hands-on craft using live flame, tools, and natural materials. While we provide instruction and guidance, results may vary.

If your piece is damaged during the process, does not fit, or does not meet expectations, refunds and remakes are not guaranteed. Depending on the situation, Sip & Smith OAHU may choose to repair, remake, or ship a replacement piece at it’s discretion.

If you take your time & follow our guidance - your piece should be beautiful.  

Taxes & Processing Fees

Applicable taxes and third-party processing fees may be non-refundable.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds may take up to 30 business days to process.

Please allow time for processing before sending multiple follow-up messages, as each customer interaction must be documented and reviewed individually.

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing or booking any Sip & Smith OAHU workshop, lesson, event, or service — including direct purchases made outside of shopify platform — you agree to these Policies & Terms of Service
